I wrote this poem as a reflection of hearts in general that become void of compassion and love. Life situations can cause hearts to become hard and uncaring of others. These lines are very short but to the point. I noticed that I hadn’t even named this poem, until now! I also noticed that there are years in between my poetry writing, probably due to self-doubt. Well, that is what I am trying to overcome with this blog. Here goes the poem.
Freezing
It has been very cold these days
Our hearts have not been working
The cold sneaks in,
And before you know it,
You are Freezing
